Company founder, Richard Mac Millan, created the business after managing the Marketing and Communication department at White Memorial Medical Center in East Los Angeles for many years. The company was founded in order to provide quality marketing and communications services to clients in healthcare, higher education and business.

MIC has done award-winning work for organizations such as La Sierra University, Fuller Theological Seminary, Claremont Graduate University, Loma Linda University Medical Center, Numerous Adventist Health System Hospitals and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
